Bobo the ginger cat wasn’t always a store manager. Lost and needing a home, he found himself adopted by a kind employee at a Chinatown shop in New York City. What started as a temporary stay turned into a purrfect career!
For an incredible 9 years, Bobo held the title of “store manager.” He never missed a day, greeting customers with a friendly meow and keeping a watchful eye on the street from his perch by the window.
This curious, calm, and affectionate feline became a local celebrity, even earning the nickname “king of the store” from his owner, Liao.
Luckily for us (and Bobo!), Liao created an Instagram account to share glimpses of his life at work and now, in retirement.
After a long and successful career, Bobo has settled back into comfortable domesticity, enjoying his well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Instead of a home, Bobo got a job, a house, and a loving owner to call his own.
For nine years, this cat worked in a store.
No days off or sick days
He loved his job, even though it was hard and had lots of benefits.
Being careful about every little thing
He kept himself clean and ready to work.
Made good use of his breaks
He was happy and enjoying his job.
Bobo is now taking a well-earned break. Sometimes animals do really well if we just give them a chance.
