Welcome to Log Cabin You are going to fall head over heels in love with the open floor concept that is featured in The Mush Run log cabin as well as the one of a kind modifications that are included in the home.
This log cabin was built on a slope, and in addition to the main level and the basement, there is also a loft space available in the log cabin. It is now prepared for a family to come in and start enjoying themselves there.
The Front Porch
The log cabin does not have a substantial back porch; however, it does have a unique side entrance that may be accessed directly from the kitchen. The entrance to this room may be located on the side of the log cabin, next to the stone chimney, as seen in the following image.
The front porch entry is a plain wooden door that is situated in between wall lights; it radiates an aura of coziness and offers a pleasant area for you to meet and greet guests and guests to your log cabin.
As soon as you enter the main entrance, the stairs that go up to the loft are directly in front of you, and the living space is located to the right of the entryway. The kitchen is located to the left of the main door.
The doors that are positioned at the end of this short corridor provide access to the storage spaces, as well as the bathrooms, and if you turn to the right at the end of the hallway, you can see the outline of the kitchen.
The Living Area
There is room for sofas and chairs in the open living area, and the fireplace can be found on the side wall that is next to the side door.
It is simple to see how rearranging the furniture in this room may generate a discernible shift in the area’s focal point as well as a significant change in the ambiance of the room as a whole. This room has adequate space for a corner TV stand.
We find that the overall look of this fireplace to be really inviting. Because of its squared foundation and chimney that is wider than it is tall, it gives the impression of a stone residence that is built against a wall and has a wooden mantle.
We really appreciate how the loft space is entirely open, and while it might be a bedroom or a place for sleeping, it could also be an open home office or even a fun room for the kids.
This is something that we really enjoy about the loft area. This is something that we have a lot of appreciation for.
If you look at the photo that is below, you may be able to catch a peek of the bathroom as well as the bedroom that is on the main level. The bedroom is situated just behind the stairs. To the right of the staircase is where you’ll find the kitchen.
Behind the couch on the left side of the room is where you’ll find the concealed staircase that leads both up to the loft and down to the lower level of the basement.
The Kitchen of the Log Cabin
Both the eating area and the kitchen are situated on the opposite side of the living room from one another. Despite the absence of a room specifically designed for dining, there is sufficient space in this area to accommodate a small table and a number of chairs.
On the other hand, they have given a seating area on the bar, which is situated on the perimeter of the room outside the building.
We are very grateful for the beautiful marble countertops, which provide a nice contrast to the appliances made of stainless steel and the log cabinets made of light wood.
There is an abundance of seating space on the side of the larger bar that is next to the living room. This side of the bar faces the living area.
The opposite side, on the other hand, is crammed with storage compartments where you may put your food supplies or merely your cutlery and cooking tools. You have the option to use either side.
One of our most favorite aspects of this log cabin is the antique farm sink. It really brings the whole place together.
It is a characteristic that is seen in many log cabins and has a great lot of compatibility with the modern farmhouse style as well as the rustic look of a log cabin.
The Upstairs Bedroom
They have given the attic space in the log cabin over to the construction of a second bedroom for themselves. It has the appearance of a hunting lodge that is rarely used on a very seldom basis, and it is outfitted with three beds for guests.
You can see that there is a lot of room available in this area for whatever it is that you want to put in it when you have your own home, whether it be beds, sofas, TVs, games, or anything else. The space can accommodate all of these things and more.
The Bedroom of the Log Cabin
The flooring is dark stained wood, the walls and ceiling are light wood, and the furniture is dark stained wood as well. Although the master bedroom on the main level isn’t very extravagant, it is large and warm because of these elements.
This area is spacious enough to hold not just a closet but also other pieces of furniture, such as a dresser or a chest of drawers, in addition to a wardrobe.
In addition, there is a ceiling fan in each and every room of the log cabin, which is a practical feature that can be used in order to keep the temperature in the log cabin at a suitable level even during the hot summer months.
The Bathroom of the Log Cabin
In addition to the combination of a bathtub and shower that is found in the majority of bathrooms, a conventional toilet, sink, and vanity are all included in the installation of a bathroom.
Nothing too fancy, simply something plain and comfortable that satisfies the needs of day-to-day living and fulfills the standards.
