Eeyore is a little cat who has performed a lot of miracles.
He was found in a dumpster and brought to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter, where he was housed with his mother and four siblings, who were also found in the same dumpster.
He is the smallest child in his litter.
The following is what Eeyore has to say about himself on his Facebook page: “I’m a small’miracle. When my mother brought me home from work, I wasn’t even 4 ounces yet.
My brothers have always been and continue to be significantly larger than I am. They refer to me as the “runt” of the litter. The first week went off without a hitch for any of us…
On the other hand, one morning Mom got up, went about her daily routine, and then came to check on us. I had fallen over onto my side and was having trouble breathing. I was on the verge of leaving.
When they brought him home, baby weighed far less than 4 ounces.
Due to the fact that I am so small, my mother did not have high hopes, but she did everything she could, including giving me fluids, karo syrup, and carrying me about wrapped in a heated towel.
When she unwrapped the towel, she was exhausted and had anticipated that I had already left… HOWEVER, she was taken aback when I suddenly appeared.
I suffered from a serious hookworm infestation, and its effects were detrimental to my health.I ended up crashing three more times.
My mother took care of me around the clock for an entire week by carrying me everywhere she went, feeding me fluids and special kitten milk, and keeping me warm.
It was a very close call, but after a week had passed, things appeared to be moving in a direction that was more favourable.
That was the first of November, and here I am in the middle of the month. I am currently between 8 and 9 weeks old and continue to improve in strength every day.
I am a 1.2-pound kitten who can perform nearly every activity that is typical of my species. That is the reason why my mother places such great emphasis on’my firsts’ and anything else that I accomplish.
He weighs 1.2 pounds and is capable of doing practically everything a typical kitten is capable of.
I am what she refers to as a Christmas miracle, and for that, I will be eternally grateful.
I have been given a second opportunity, and now it is my mission to make everyone I come in contact with happy and to spread smiles.
In addition to the size of his heart, his ears are also quite enormous.
