I am the kind of person who thinks that any and all cats are stunning. In addition, cats with unique requirements have always held a special place in my heart. These hardy cats frequently are oblivious to the fact that they are significantly different from the typical cat.
They have the fortitude and confidence to go about life as though there is nothing that can stop them, and they inspire us to do the same. According to Scar, he is a lovely cat who also has a look about him that is reminiscent of a pirate. But it only makes him even more attractive if you ask me.
You will find out that he is stunning on the inside as well as the outside once you have more information about him. Scar went from being an undernourished and sickly kitten to a gorgeous, fluffy head-turner because to the care and attention he received. All that was required was for someone to gamble on him when nobody else had any interest in him.
How did Scar first become a part of your world?
28.11.2020. I found Scar (whose birthday is September 15th, 2020) on the most popular classifieds website in Croatia, which is called “njuskalo.” Because the picture depicted a sad kitten who had recently undergone surgery on his right eye due to the severe inflammation he was suffering from, no one was interested in him.
After calling the individual who had put the adoption ad, I discovered that I was the first person to answer the ad and that Scar was located 63 km (100 kilometres) away.
It took me about an hour and a half to travel there, but I finally arrived at the city of Rijeka. At their first encounter, Scar was timid among strangers and hid behind the cat carrier out of fear.
After I had called to him for a minute, he finally mustered up the bravery to approach me and came running into my arms. As soon as I sat down with him and noticed that he was quite frail and needed gentle petting…
He made himself comfortable and eventually dozed off. After that, I had no doubt that I was “the chosen one.” It took him a few weeks to acclimatise to his new environment and the idea of leaving my bedroom when he returned home because he was so terrified when he first arrived.
In what ways would you say his personality differs from yours?
He is smart, quarrelsome, playful (his favourite toy is an olive branch), manipulative, empathic, hilarious, always there when it is most needed, and special. He is timid, terrifying, and a giant baby. He dislikes baths. He is stubborn. He is terrified of strange people and noises. He is attached to his owners.
What are some of his most beloved pastimes?
Sunbathing, capturing lizards, birds, snakes, or grasshoppers, drinking rainwater, caressing your cheek as you sleep, meowing in the early hours just to wake you up, lounging in the shade under a sun lounger, and drinking rainwater are all activities that your cat enjoys doing.
What is one unique fact about Scar that you’d like to share with the rest of the world?
First things first, he has a disability that sets him apart from other people and makes him unique. It’s as if he can read my mind because whenever I think of him, he materialises out of nowhere.
In exchange for his favourite treats, he is able to grasp commands such as “high five”, “turn”, and “sit”
He adores his blanket, on which he always likes to lie down and appears to slip into some kind of trance: he throws himself on his side and collapses as if he has lost his balance, makes biscuits, purrs a lot, looks at you if you stop petting him and in the cold he goes under the blanket. He also creates biscuits.
