After spending some time hanging out outside, a cat decides to come inside, where he discovers that he is surrounded by other prospective new cuddle partners.
Animal lovers Stefany and her mother from Canada have provided assistance to a great number of strays and abandoned animals in their region.
They get them fixed, get them vetted, and then find them decent homes through a local rescue organisation called Chatons Orphelins Montreal.
Many strays have eventually found their way to their garden in search of food and shelter over the course of time. One day, a new person was spotted lurking in the background outdoors, looking intently at the bowls of cat food that had been left out.
He gave off the impression of being quite timid and remained outside the building till Stefany had finished her business inside.

The cat eventually became more outgoing and relaxed among the people who provided him with food as time went on. He came back when the temperature dropped to a point where it was unbearably cold, but this time he had a different strategy in mind.
“He waited for Stefany to come out of the house with the dinner as he sat in the garden. After she opened the glass door, he entered the kitchen without stopping. He did not make a single attempt to escape and instead hurled himself at her feet.
Stefanie went to pick him up, and once she did, she held him in the crook of her arm. She was taken aback by the cat’s lack of resistance to her affection, which was a wonderful surprise.
She provided him with a room that was fully furnished, including a bed, a litter box, and food. After gorging his face, he climbed into his brand-new cot, snuggled up and went asleep almost immediately.
The name of the cat was Oscar, and he arrived with a pair of ears that showed signs of having endured a number of arduous Canadian winters, as evidenced by frostbite scars. It was obvious that he wasn’t meant to live in the wilderness because of how eager he was to be loved.
“He had an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards those who had helped him. He would always want to snuggle with them and would do things like press his face on their cheeks, as Celine related.
Soon after, Stefany noticed that Oscar had a bump in his neck, which turned out to be a cyst (perhaps caused by an old injury). The cyst was removed.
Oscar underwent surgery to remove the tumour, and then he moved into a foster home with Gabrielle, a volunteer, to begin the recovery process. He covered his sutures with a neck scarf or a jumper for added protection.
While he was resting and getting better, he was given a lot of stuffed animals to cuddle with and keep him company. He would fall asleep close to his faithful frog and his tweety bird and cuddle up with them both.
“When he first got here, he slept a lot. As his health improved, he developed an interest in everything that was going on around him and frequently demanded attention.
Being coddled by his people is the only thing that can bring a smile to Oscar’s face. When it is time for a hug, he will indicate this by nuzzling his face into their hands.
Gabrielle plied him with as many hugs and kisses as she could get up for him.
Oscar spent a few weeks in foster care before he was adopted by a family who immediately fell in love with the young boy and made him part of their family. The young lad’s heart leapt for delight when he learned that he would have a home of his own and people to adore for all of eternity.
Now, not only does he get unlimited cuddles from his adoring humans, but he now has fur siblings with whom he can spend every day playing and having fun.
