The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office reported a little black cat outside one of its Eden Township stations a few days ago. The cat seemed ambitious despite his size.

“We believe he was attempting to walk on as a K9 unit and refused to leave until he was interviewed,” the sheriff’s office stated on its website. “He took over the printer and napped in the sergeant’s office.”

Naturally, this cat wanted to be a beloved pet. He’s luckier now. The cat’s persistence was rewarded.
The sheriff’s office stated Deputy Scalise took him to the vet and will adopt him.
