Loong Dum, a homeless guy from Thailand who lives in a train station, makes it a point to look after the strays he believes to be his companions and to make sure that they have the food and water that they require.

He does this because he considers them to be his friends. Because he thinks them to be his buddies, he behaves in this manner toward them.

This is the case despite the difficult circumstances that he has to face daily in his life. Despite these obstacles, he has been successful.

Even though he does not currently have any children of his own, he is aware of the responsibilities that come along with the role of a caretaker and is prepared to fulfill those tasks when the time comes.

Daily, he ventures out into the public square to sell limes to bring in money that he may put toward the cost of acquiring food for himself and the other people with whom he is traveling.

Although there are times when he does not have enough food for himself, and experiences hunger, regardless of the circumstances, feeding his cherished cats is always his priority.

The story of Loong Dum became well known after a young woman by the name of Warunya Wattanasupachoke seen Loong Dum selling limes with a sign that read

20 baht per bag, profits will pay for the stray cat’s food expenses, and the young woman shared her observations online.

After his story went viral on social media, many who care for animals showed their gratitude toward him for being so unselfish and offered their assistance.

A select number of them came to buy limes from him, while the remaining customers gave him food and other supplies for his cats.

After that, a few people went out of their way to provide him brand new clothes and accompany him to the barbershop so he could have a new haircut.

After he had his makeover, he went back out onto the street to sell limes since he believed that his life had become devoid of any value because he was no longer able to care for his beloved cats.
